The fish here is incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection! The staff friendly. knowledgeable, and welcoming. My sister and I had a wonderful lunch today from Kevin’s Seafood, and we both look forward to returning soon!

The fried seafood here is unrivaled in the area and likely among the best in Connecticut. From whole belly clams to shrimp, scallops, and sole, everything is perfectly fried. And the desserts! The sweet potato cheesecake and peach pie cheesecake are a must. Don’t miss out on Kevin’s; it’s mainly set up for takeout with limited seating inside, but there are a couple of tables.

There’s no ambiance to speak of—just a takeout place with two very small tables and limited parking. Even so, I would recommend it for the lobster roll, and the counter staff were friendly and helpful.

On our road trip, we paused here for lobster rolls, which were outstanding—generously portioned and incredibly fresh. Primarily a takeout place, they have just two small tables, likely for quick stops like ours (as the reviews suggested). Highly recommended.

I had two sandwiches, though only one made it for the photo. This is, without a doubt, my top seafood spot in New Haven – everything is always piping hot and straight from the pot.
